Premium epoxy finish High Build 240cc.
RV High Build epoxy finish 240cc.
RV excellent processing premium HighBuild epoxy large package 240cc. Suitable for finishing wrappings on all blank types. This epoxy has a shorter processing time and a higher viscosity than light build epoxy.
Characteristics
- Remains flexible, has excellent gloss retention, is durable and has high UV protection. Excellent penetration of the wrappings. This is one of the best high build epoxies available suitable for all blanks with any conceivable surface.
- The resin component is quite thick/high viscosity and the resin can "flake" at low temperatures, the resin than becomes white and solid. When heated, the resin quickly becomes clear and liquid again, for example in the microwave at 160 watts until the resin is slightly warm (cap loosened...), or simply place in a warm location.
Processing
- Do not dilute all epoxies as this will disrupt chemical curing and affect gloss retention and durability
- mix well 1:1 - processing time at least 25 minutes - convenient processing temperature. is above 18 °C
- use of a good brush gives much better results within less time and effort
- After applying allow the rod parts to rotate for 3-5 hours depending on ambient temperature
- check for air bubbles about 10 minutes after applying - remove them with a hair dryer or alcohol burner
- processing in a ventilated and sufficiently heated room - cleaning tools with thinner - fabric dry after 4/6 hours
- apply when needed a second coat within 24 hours - complete curing after 48 hours (at 18 °C)
- set contains in total 240cc. - 40cc. in refillable syringe (heat resin first and suck on resin/hardener)
- quantity is equal to 6 sets in a syringe of 40 cc - more than 30% cheaper
