RV-Cork filler - PRO

Cork filler Pro is a powder developed for the filling of cork, jar contains more than 100 gr. sufficient for dozens of grips, inc. spatula supplied. The powder is composed of natural components, contains no harmful substances. Specially mixed by color to approach the color of cork as closely as possible. This is very different from the tubes, the adhesion and strength is much better so the filler stays in place for a long time.


Processing
Take enough powder for your job and mix with water. Mixing ratio approx. 3 parts powder and 1 part water. Make the mixture quite thin and let it rest for a while, it contains binding agents that increase the thickness after a few minutes. Apply with the spatula, first long strokes in the longitudinal direction and then remove the excess filler as well as possible while rotating. The less there is too much on the cork, the more convenient, the strength and adhesion is high, what is not too much does not have to be sanded off. When there are some larger irregularities in the cork add some extra filler and then let it dry for at least an hour. Then sand with k220/360, which can be done manually, with some kind of lathe is more convenient and gives an even better result. If necessary, treat the handle with RV Cork seal for an even more durable end result. When sanding, it is wise to wear a good dust mask.
